TEAM WALLET X is a native iOS app for sports teams that brings together penalty tracking, finances, equipment management, calendar, team chat, and gamification in one place. It's built around a role system — Admin, Coach, Manager, Medical, Kit Manager, and Player — so everyone sees exactly what they need and nothing they don't.
There are three tiers:
Personal Pro is an individual subscription — you buy it for yourself and it follows you to any team you're in. It unlocks achievements, team chat, personal stats, and data export.
Team Premium is bought once by the team admin and automatically grants Personal Pro features to every current and new member. It also adds admin-only extras: AI insights (Claude), unlimited penalty types, up to 50 members, a budget planner, and PDF/CSV team exports.
The admin shares a team invite link (e.g. via WhatsApp or iMessage). If the player already has the app, the link opens it directly and pre-fills the invite code. If they don't have it, the link shows a web page with the code and an App Store badge. After downloading, they enter the code to request to join. The admin approves or rejects the request — no one gets in without explicit approval.
There are six roles: Admin, Coach, Manager, Medical, Kit Manager, and Player. Admins assign roles after approving a member. A member can have a primary role plus additional roles — for example, a player-captain who also manages the kit can hold both Player and Kit Manager roles, seeing both feature hubs.
Yes. Health data is treated as GDPR Article 9 special-category data. Only the Medical role and Admin can read or write injury and medical records. A player can read their own records but not other players'. Coaches, managers, and kit managers have no access to health data at all. This access restriction is enforced at the database level (Firestore security rules), not just in the UI.
AI Insights is available to Admins and Managers on a Team Premium subscription. It sends your team's aggregate financial stats (collection rate, outstanding fines, penalty category trends, active players) to Claude and returns 3–5 actionable insights with suggested actions. No player names or personal data are sent to the AI — only anonymised totals. There's a per-user 15-minute cooldown and a 10 calls/day team cap to keep costs predictable.
Yes — the app uses Firestore's offline persistence with a 50 MB cache so you can view your recent data without a connection. A banner appears when you're offline. Write operations (assigning penalties, marking payments) queue locally and sync automatically when you reconnect.
Security was a first-class concern from the start:
No. While many of the example penalty types and positions reference football, the app works for any team sport with a fine/penalty culture and equipment to manage — hockey, basketball, rugby, cricket, volleyball, and more. Penalty categories, penalty amounts, player positions, and kit types are fully customisable per team.
Yes. You can be a member of multiple teams and switch between them instantly using the Team Switcher. A Personal Pro subscription works across all your teams. Team Premium is per-team — if you admin two separate clubs, each needs its own Team Premium subscription.
